2020 LONG DUCKER T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION

As part of this year’s virtual long ducker festivities the Sports department in collaboration with Friends of Harrow and Tsunami sports launched a competition to design the official lower school and upper school long ducker tees. Tasked with the challenge of creating a design inspired by the ideas of creativity, resilience, support, community and togetherness we were enormously impressed with the breadth of entries received.

After receiving an incredible number of entries from pupils across all year groups we were tasked with the challenging task of selecting the winners. Well done to everyone who participated and submitted their designs and special congratulations to Vicky (Year 10, Anderson) who produced the winning design for Upper School and Isla (2Z, Monkey), Freya (K1 Yellow), Ayano (Year 2 Snake) and Nagi (Year 2 Dragon) who collaborated as a team to produce the winning entry for Lower school.

It was fantastic to see so many members of our community wearing their Long Ducker T-Shirts as they completed their duckers across Hong Kong and we are so pleased that this fantastic initiative was able to bring a sense of community during these times of separation. To see a selection of the designs submitted please take the time to visit our virtual gallery at https://www.harrowschool.hk/harrow-horizons/charity-and-community-service/long-ducker/; we hope you have as much fun looking through the designs as we did!
