Harrow Hong Kong has enjoyed a partnership with Kids4Kids since 2014 and the School was recently selected by the charity as its Most Engaging Partner at the Kids Change Makers Awards 2017. This is the second time the School has received the honour. The award is rewarded to partnering organisations of the city based on its involvement, number of volunteers mobilised, and frequency of volunteering.
Since 2014, the School’s Community Service ECA has been part of the charity’s Buddy Reading Programme which aims to provide a better reading environment to the children from LST Leung Wong Wai Fong Memorial School in Tuen Mun. Teachers and students prepare weekly reading and art activities at the School library and welcome the children with big smiles! Also in early May, the Prep School Charity Working Party collected 1600 English books for children aged 3-12 in less than two weeks, 600 more than the group targeted! All the books will be donated to the buddy reading programmes around Hong Kong.
