Mr Saturnino Tiamson, the visiting drum teacher of Harrow International School Hong Kong, represented Hong Kong and Philippines in the International Italy Percussion Competition in September 2016. He won second prize with a Diploma of Merit in the Drum set category C. Prior to the competition, he had won the Senior Gold Medal and Plaque in the Jazz category, four other Gold Medals and one Silver Medal in the World Championships of Performing Arts in California in July.
