All of the School’s Boxes of Hope were successfully delivered to the children in the eight orphanages in mainland China in December 2016. We are pleased to receive an email from our partnering charity One Sky which has expressed gratitude to the School community for their tremendous support and kindness.
“This is one of my favorite emails every year – to share with you all the smiley faces of our children! Thanks to your commitment, the 8 institutions received all the gifts before Christmas. Most importantly, the gifts represent love, care and warmth from Hong Kong so that our children never feel alone during the festive season.
Thank you and the most wonderful volunteer team for sorting out and reviewing all the boxes. Thanks for being so considerate on the needs of different age groups as well as the requirement of the customs. We, of course, are very grateful to all of the students, staff and parents from Harrow Hong Kong for their most generous gift donation!“
The School will organise the annual charity race The Long Ducker on Saturday 11th March. The School community will join together to continue our fundraising efforts for this year’s six nominated charities.
