Harrow Hong Kong’s Euwan (Year 7, Banks) secured an early Christmas present with success at the 2017 Taiwan Jiu-Jitsu Open last month.
The young Jiu-Jitsuka earned a silver medal in the Junior 40kg category at the event, which took place in Taipei City on 16 December.
It was Euwan’s first overseas event, but he went in with hopes of a strong performance and managed to finish on the podium in his weight bracket.
The event welcomed a cross-section of competitors from juniors through to adults, which Euwan said provided for a great atmosphere.
Harrow Hong Kong sends its congratulations to Euwan for his achievement, and wishes him every success in his future competitions.
