On Tuesday 22 November, a group of 15 students supported the Social Welfare Department at a sports day being held for local people with special needs and disabilities at Tuen Mun Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground. It was a special day for the participants as they always enjoy the opportunity to take part in outdoor activities. Despite the rain, the students showed plenty of enthusiasm and played a big part in helping all the participants thoroughly enjoy the day. The students assisted in the running of the shot put competition, helping to measure the distances thrown, refereeing and picking up the shot put balls. “We all learnt how little things can make people happy and I would strongly recommend others to do this in the future,” one student said.
