On Friday 11 March, Dr Richard Joiner, undergraduate Director of Studies for Psychology at the University of Bath gave a very interesting taster lecture on Developmental Psychology to all Year 12 students. He showed us some interesting experiments which challenged our perceptions of the world and he demonstrated how everything is not always what is seems – a Derren Brown type experience for all! The lecture was an enjoyable and valuable experience giving our students some insight into the course and some University-level intellectual inspiration.
