Each week, a team of 15 students from Harrow International School Hong Kong visits the Helping Hands Centre in Kwai Tsing as part of their Charity ECA (extra-curricular activities). Helping Hands is a care home for elderly and disabled people who need more care and support than they can receive at home. The students bring cards, board games and arts and crafts, playing games and chatting to the residents of the home. All the students have found it really rewarding to get to know the elderly people, giving them something to look forward to and acting as familiar faces for them to see each week!
