One of our community working party ECA groups is visiting Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre, Tuen Mun each Monday to run workshops with the centre users. The School community started before half-term with a ‘sing-a-long’ group with both English and Cantonese songs being enjoyed. This week group decorated photo frames using buttons, beads and ribbons and all who participated were able to take home a lovely finished frame. Future plans are to run a cup cake decorating class with the help of Harrow Hong Kong parent, Mrs Belinda Ledger and an English language session using flash cards made by our students. The students are thoroughly enjoying their time and the response from the centre users has been very positive. We would like to thank Mrs Rebecca Clayton for helping us to introduce our programme to the centre.
