On 15 October, eight Harrow Hong Kong Prep School students and two of their teachers attended the Hong Kong Kids’ Lit Quiz at the German Swiss International School. Competing in teams of four, the students pitched their knowledge against other schools, answering one hundred gruelling questions on categories ranging from myths and heroes to literary creatures. The two Harrow Hong Kong teams won first and second place, with only half a point difference between their scores! Third place went to The ISF Academy with another narrow margin.
The Harrow Hong Kong community is proud of the huge achievements of both the teams who performed so well at the competition. There are many keen and knowledgeable readers in the School and there was a lot of competition for places on the two teams. The winning team is now invited to the 2016 World Final to be held at the Aotea Centre, Auckland on 19 August.
