Harrow Hong Kong students had a wonderful afternoon at Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre this week with a combination of cooking and language workshops with members of the Centre. Our School cooks and students helped the Centre users to make a traditional cream tea with cucumber sandwiches and scones with jam and cream. All of us had a great time preparing the scone recipe and getting our hands covered in flour but even more fun eating the results of the efforts. The language workshop taught an array of ‘food’ words and then the challenge was to complete a crossword.
Next week we are making sushi!
