All aboard the Energy Express! Year 2 enjoyed a fantastically fun filled day at the Science Museum on Tuesday 17 November. In addition to working our way through all the exciting hands-on activities, we watched an extraordinary demonstration of the incredibly low temperatures liquid Nitrogen can reach. Brave volunteers were even selected to take part in the demonstration, some having the vapour from the Nitrogen blown straight onto their hands! Many of us were also thrilled to find that our Theme lessons about fossil fuels came in handy when looking at the energy exhibits. Our lovely day was concluded by a visit to the gift shop and a scrumptious sandwich picnic. Everyone had a fantastic time and we are all truly now energy experts!
